MEDIA ACCREDITATION

Media accreditation is now open for the inaugural World Boxing Championships 2025 which will be held in Liverpool, England, 4-14 September 2025.

To apply for media accreditation to attend and cover this event, journalists, photographers and broadcasters are asked to submit their application via the Games Management System at the link below:

https://www.gmsportal.net/live/Register.aspx?ESID=56

As part of the accreditation process, all applications will need to include:

  • Personal Information: Date of birth; gender and nationality

  • Contact details

  • Role and details of media outlets

  • Passport details: Number; expiry date and country of issue

  • A passport style photograph

This process is an application for media accreditation which will be granted wholly at the discretion of World Boxing and Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the World Boxing Championships 2025.  The demand for media accreditation is expected to be high and all applications will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.  As a result of this, it may not be possible to accommodate all requests and some applications will not be successful.

As part of the accreditation process all applicants will be expected to read and consent to abide by the event’s Terms and Conditions of Entry and Accreditation.

Journalists from outside of the United Kingdom that may need to apply for a visa, are advised to make their applications as soon as possible.  Attached for those journalists that require it, is a Visa Support Guide for World Boxing Championships 2025.

All applications should be submitted by 17:00 (BST) on Monday 18 August 2025.  It may not be possible to fulfil any applications received after this time.

Any further enquiries about media accreditation, the application process and media arrangements at the event should be sent to media@worldboxing.org.
